High gloss paint is a paint that has a high amount of shine. This type of paint is often used for trim work or for cabinets. It can also be used for walls, but it may be too much shine for some people. High gloss paint is easy to clean and is durable.

gives a nice look and high gloss paint is often used outside.

High gloss   always has a glossy appearance.

Before you start with the paint, you must of course make good preparations.

So first degrease well and then sand.

Sanding is also very important for your end result.

It is better to sand a little longer than to putty, for example.

Putty is not very resistant to moisture.

If you use high gloss, you won’t be bothered by dirt as much.

You can also clean it much easier.

High gloss can withstand moisture well.

When you apply a high-gloss paint, you can use some paint brands for up to 10 years without having to carry out maintenance.

The advantages.

Of course, an advantage always has a disadvantage.

Johan Cruijff has been saying this for years.

If you don’t do a good pre-work with this paint, you can see all the imperfections as soon as the high-gloss paint has cured.

That is why it is so important that you have a super smooth surface for the high-gloss paint.

For example, if you need to update a window frame, make sure that you completely paint a left or right half (top or bottom).

If you don’t do this, you will always see a difference.

High gloss then tends where you touch up that spot to make it stand out extra.

Some good high gloss lacquers are under the Sigma s2u gloss from sigma paint.

This paint has a very long gloss retention.

The moment you iron it on the wood, you immediately see the shine coming.

Another good high-gloss paint is the sikkens rubbol xd gloss.

Have a good experience with this too.

With the Sikkens paint you can use it for between 8 and 10 years.

A real good recommendation.

Now I could list more products, but that’s not what I’m going to do.

I would like to know which high gloss paint you have worked with.

And what are your experiences. Let me know by leaving a comment.
